Giving Our Girl The Best Chance!

**Update:- hello lovely people as you can see we hit our original goal and that is absolutely fantastic i couldnt believe it! So we have withdrew the funds and have placed a order the start up kit and extra box of sensors for amelia and spoken with the hosptial and we are all very excited to get her set up.. sorry I have been quiet for a little while i have had my hands very full. Amelias diabetes seemed to settle for a few days but then alot of unexpected hypers appeared so been having to graph it out to find a pattern.. i love you all so much and wanna thank you for your help!! **

Hi my name is Becky. I set up this go fund me page for my Daughter Amelia. In February 2016 at 18 months old my beautiful little girl fell ill and was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic. And what we need your help with is funding for a Continious Glucose Monitoring System. This is a sensor that will continuously read amelias blood sugar levels and help guide us in the right direction for her treatment. She has been funded for a insulin pump but for the compatable sensors there is no funding.. the start up cost of this system is £687 and then after is a continuous £275 a month. We are desperate to raise this as soon as possible because this is the best chance we have to getting amelias levels into a pattern so that they dont have a negative impact on her future..
For some of you who are or are not aware every 3 months diabetics undergoe a hba1c blood test, the results are supposed to be below a reading of 10.. and at just over a year into diagnosis, amelias levels are still in the 60's.. this is progress from the 90's they started at 3 months after diagnosis but without this system we are afraid that this level may not reduce quick enough so that she does not develop other complications from her diabetes.
