My Father's Dying Wish

I just got the news today, 10.15.2014, that my father has less than 6 months to live. He has a clogged heart valve and considers himself too old to have the surgery in his late yrs, and so he is going to his home to die there with a home health care attendant.
He lives in IL, and I have not been home for 30 yrs, but he has visited my teenage son and I here in Maine, where I reside. I am the only daughter that has a relationship with him.
He was planning to attend my son's high school graduation next June, and he will not make it that long. It is my hope, that thru this venue, we can raise the money for 2 airplane tickets and lodging and taxi or rentacar to visit my dad before he passes away. We have grown to have a great relationship over the yrs, especially while I have lived here in Maine.
I am a single mom, and need assistance with the funds for this trip, so my dad can see my son and I, before his passing away. Any donation would be so helpful and sincerely appreciated! We would like to go for Thanksgiving weekend, if at all possible! THANK YOU.
