Funeral For Little Timmy

$28,144 of $19,000 goal

Losing a child hurts in a way that cannot be expressed in words. We are asking for help to cover little Timmy's funeral expenses and to provide some time off work to recover from our grief.

EDIT: At this point all funeral expenses will be covered and we will be able to take some time off work. We are blown away that additional donations keep coming in. We are grateful for the time you all have given us to rebuild our life again. We plan to celebrate the last 4 months we had with Timmy, cry a lot together, and visit family.

It was only a little over 4 months, but just the other day we were saying how we couldn't imagine our world without you.

It's only now we realize the depth of joy you brought to
our lives. Nothing else can compare to the love and absolute trust we saw in those big beautiful eyes.

There was no sound sweeter than your little laugh.

Timothy Paul's last night was filled with love. He enjoyed his favorite moment of the day--bath time.

Then, with a full belly, he spent time in the arms of his Mama and Daddy, with looks of love and adoration.

He had an active day so he was tired when he went to sleep for the night. He had been such a good sleeper for months now. Mama checked in as usual, and he was found in the middle of the night, already with the Lord.

We are small business owners, and work from home. Being self-employed has been a mixed blessing,  because we were able to spend so much time with our little monkey. However, any time off will only come from the generosity of others.

We are indebted to you for celebrating Timmy's life with us at this time.

EDIT: We want to celebrate the joy of Timmy's life, rather than focus on his death. However, since so many people have asked we want everyone to know that this was in no way related to vaccines.

Today we got to see our little monkey again. He looked just like he was sleeping, and even seemed to have a little smile on his face. We told him about all the people (YOU) who have helped Mama and Daddy take care of him.

Tomorrow we will try to celebrate his life. We will honor his memory by trying to live the same joy he brought to everyone. Although I am sure there will be plenty of tears, we will try to save most of them for our goodbye on Wednesday.

Words cannot express our gratitude. I have tried over and over again to find some way to say how much your gifts mean to us, but I just can't. Beyond caring for us in a material way, the show of love has been a balm for our aching souls.

We are humbled to see how many people have sacrificed to help us. Please know that Teresa and I will spend the rest of our lives trying to pass on at least some of the kindness we have received.

We close our eyes tonight, just a little less tearful, thinking of all of you. We pray that God blesses you for the generous love you have shown us.

Thank you so much to everyone that contributed to support us and honor our little monkey. We are blown away at how many people we know and don't know have rallied to support us.

The funeral will be at the Cathedral and make sure to have the organ played for Mass. He loved the music and beauty of the cathedral so much. He was so well behaved at Mass and regularly enjoyed sleeping through Father's sermons :)

Hello everyone, Teresa are beyond grateful for the outpouring of support. Your love and prayers has made this unbearable moment of our lives just a little bit lighter.

Also, we want to celebrate the joy of Timmy's life, rather than focus on his death. However, since so many people have asked we want everyone to know that this was in no way related to vaccines.

For those who can attend or even just want to be with us in spirit, the visitation and funeral will be on the same day. The visitation is currently scheduled for 1:30pm on Wednesday the 26th at the Cathedral in Louisville, KY. The funeral will be at 4:00pm, with a meal provided by the church after.
