A truly remarkable, inspiring and bright life gone too soon.

It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the sudden loss of a son, brother, friend, mentor, teammate, one-in-a-million, Shey Herd. His family, hundreds of friends, coaches, teachers and community members are all mourning the loss of this amazing young man.

Shey was the light of any room he walked into. His infectious, beautiful, bright smile is one you will never forget. Shey never met a stranger. Whether you knew him for ten years or ten minutes, you would walk away feeling as if you had known him forever. His positive attitude and outlook on life was awe-inspiring. Shey's love for his family, faith and friends is something you do not see everyday. His impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him or seeing him in passing will forever remain.

We are asking for donations to assist his family in covering these unexpected expenses while they mourn the loss of their beloved Shey.

Life will never be the same without Shey but he would want us all to remember the positive legacy he left behind and know that he is looking down on all of us with that unforgettable smile.
