Dear Family and Friends,
On Monday, May 13th, 2019, Evadne's (Meeko's) Grandmother, Mayvola Davis, passed away after battling cancer for the past 5 years. Ms. Davis fought valiantly and bravely during this time. Evadne is the last living descendant of Ms. Davis, being that Evadne was an only child and her own mother, who preceded Ms. Davis in death, was also an only child. As Evadne prepares to lay her grandmother to rest, she is in dire need of Financial Assistance. Unfortunately, before Ms. Davis' passing, there was no Will or Advanced Directive in place. In addition, the Life Insurance that was in place is currently restricted due to legal matters.
Testifying to the love, will, and determination Evadne displayed as a loving Granddaughter and Caretaker, this is an Endeavor of Love my sister and I are undertaking to help defray the cost of Funeral Expenses. At this current juncture, Evadne can use all the help that can be rendered. Any and all contributions (regardless of amount) towards funeral costs and expenses would be greatly appreciated. The Funeral Home is requesting a deposit by this Saturday, May 18th, 2019. Ideally, we would like to meet our goal by Friday to have ready to give to the Funeral Director on Saturday.
We have all experienced the loss of a loved one and know how tough the financial hardships can be. So, we are asking you to consider giving what you can, if you can. All donations raised from here and other avenues will be going towards funeral expenses.
