Paying Tribute to a Veterans Grieving Family

My Dad, Keith, was a hard worker who served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.   He was a proud Husband and Father.  He had a rough battle with cancer, which came to an end on Tuesday March, 26th 2019. He leaves behind many loved ones, including a wife(my Mother, Wendy) and 2 young boys(my Brothers). Keith unfortunately did not have life insurance, and once diagnosed with cancer, it was impossible to get him any at that point. We all thought he had more time, so my Mom was trying to plan financially, however, it didn't work out that way because his life expectancy was cut short due to how aggressive the cancer became. While at home, My mom took care of his every need, when she was not working her day job as a Caregiver.  Three weeks ago, after another trip to the ER, we were all faced with the shocking news that my Dad was not able to come home again, instead he was referred to Hospice Care, where he spent exactly Two weeks. 

This fund is in an effort to help the grieving family pay for the cost of funeral arrangements, the medical bills from any cancer treatments and surgeries, and any remaining will be used to help his surviving wife and young boys.  Please keep the Kauffman family in your prayers through this tragic time. Anything that you can do to help them offset the cost during this hardship is greatly appreciated.
