Pernell and Marada have just been devastated by losing their daughter, Kellyann, and future son-in-law, Jacob as well as their granddaughter, Delilah being in Childrens Hospital in Calgary due to a motor vehicle collision. Pernell also just suffered a mild heart attack within the past month.
