My name is Juliana Ventimiglia and my dear friend Amanda Caminneci was struck and run over by an 18 wheel truck in September. The reprecusions of such a traumatic event left her unable to walk with very severe injuries, internal bleeding, and intense operations. Amanda, however, is alive. She is a living miracle. For anyone that knows her, she is a warrior. A resilient, fearless woman, who has knocked down all of her life obstacles including this one.
She has been hospitalized since September and is on her way to a full recovery. In the mean time, I think it is important that family and friends come together to help her in a time of need. Amanda has not asked for any donations, however, as she is transitioning from the hospital, rehab and then eventually home, any financial help would be useful as she cannot work. She is still healing and learning to walk again. As a 23 year old, she has hopes and dreams she needs to fulfill. Let's not allow financial burdens to be an additional set back. Let's help her get back on her feet!
