Fundraising for my mum

Donation protected
On the 11th of February my mum was in a severe car accident. I was woken up at 6:30am to a call from her distressed boyfriend who was also in the car crash. I had to wake up my two sisters, one who has autism and the other who is only 9 years of age. I'm 19 years old and throughout my 19 years of being on this earth and losing multiple family members and friends, I can honestly say it was the most pain I had experienced in my life, the thought of losing my mother. My world completely came crashing down. All I had been told on the call was that she was trapped in the car, they didn't want to move her and that she was unconscious. I had no idea of her actual condition but my head assumed she had a piece of the car sticking into her stomach. Her partner then started screaming that she was the love of his life and that he couldn't lose her. I thought in that moment that she was dead. I took my two sisters to the neighbour, as I didn't want them to come to the hospital due to myself not knowing the extent of my mothers condition. My partner and I rushed to the hospital and my mother, nor her partner had arrived so we went to the accident scene and they had just rushed them off to the hospital in the ambulances. We drove back to the ambulance and my mum and her partner were still not there. Naturally I panicked and assumed the worst as you do. She eventually arrived, her partner following shortly after in the ambulances.

When I walked into my mums hospital bay my heart shattered. She had the biggest lump on the side of her head and there was blood running down her face and what looked like blood coming out her ears. She wasn't very responsive. She suffered a huge concussion and short term amnesia, which she still had. She was taken to Royal Perth and put into Trauma unit. She was in hospital for a total of 6 days, even though I believe she should have been in longer.

The man who t-boned her, went through a red light at 100-120km per hour on an 80km road. He had absolutely no remorse for what he had done and the fact my mother and her partner were so badly injured.

It's now been nearly 3 months since her accident and she is not allowed to work nor drive. She suffers with some brain damage and her knee is damaged from the car crash. She is a single mother to 3 children. We are struggling to even buy food, along with all the bills we have to pay. I am differing my uni degree this semester to find a job so I can try and help financially. However we currently have no income what so ever. We were living off the car insurance that my mother was paid out but that mainly went to bills since we own a house. Now due to no financial income we may lose the house.

I don't have an amount of money that I need to raise or anything like that, it genuinely is a situation where any money at all will help.

Thank you so much for reading and taking time to do so.

My mother is the most important person in my life and the most deserving person, it shatters me that this happened to her.
