Funeral Expenses for Baby Jamarius

Today our baby man gained his angel wings. We dont know the exact cause yet but early this morning his oxygen levels dropped and he stopped breathing, doctors did all they could but God must have needed him more than we did. Jamarius had been home almost a month, his health over all had been well, so this is very unexpected for us. Please say some prayers for us all.

My name is Stephanie, and I am hoping to be able to raise money for my sister and her precious baby boy. On January 8th my sister went to see a specialist due to learning her baby boy would be born with a cleft lip, during the doctor’s visit she learned that her little guy wasn’t taking in fluids like he was supposed to so her doctor decided it best to send her to almost 2 hours away from home to a hospital in Louisville, KY so she would get the best care possible until she had to baby. Less than 24 hours into being in Louisville they told her she would have to deliver the baby early. On January 9th our little warrior Jamarius joined the Brown family 6 weeks earlier than planned. We soon learned that he didn’t just have a cleft lip, but he was diagnosed with a very rare syndrome called Treacher Collins Syndrome with a cleft palate/lip. ( if you’ve seen the movie Wonder, this is the syndrome Auggie was diagnosed with) Baby Brown had to have surgery to put in a tracheostomy as soon as he was born to help him breath, and a feeding tube to help him eat. He will have to have numerous surgeries over the course of several years to restructure his nose, eyes, mouth, ears and chin. As well as many therapies to stimulate his motor skills. We are still unsure if he will be able to hear or have full functioning vision and have learned he has a small bleeding on his brain that they are closely monitoring. My sister not only has years of traveling back and forth from Owensboro to Louisville ahead of her, but she currently isn’t prepared for the now. She has no car and doesn’t know how she will get back and forth from Owensboro to Louisville while he is in the hospital or for the visits they will have to make once he gets to come home, she doesn’t have her own place and has been staying with family for several months now due to losing her job after several complications during her pregnancy, nor does she have the things she needs for the baby, since he came 6 weeks earlier than we all planned. Our family would greatly appreciate any monetary help that you have to offer but most of all your prayers for our little Wonder Warrior.
