Fundraiser for John Britt

Many know John Britt as the glaze guru of the ceramics community. He teaches multiple workshops a year and spreads his knowledge worldwide. If you have googled a glaze question, than you were probably lucky enough to view one of his YouTubes. He is quite funny.
On Sunday May 19th, John suffered a flucky, single person bike accident along the Virginia Creeper Trail. It has left him with multiple injuries and immobilized at home for at least 8-12 weeks. He later transitions to outpatient rehab for an indefinite period of time.

These type of injuries require long periods of rest and patience, but hopefully, he will make a full recovery.
I have received permission from John and his wife, Cheryl, to start a fundraising campaign to assist them while John recovers from his injuries. It is so early in the process that they don't even know the extent of the expenses. John is a giver at heart and very humble; he was initially reluctant to the idea of a fundraiser, but he knows many people want to help in some small way so this will provide a way to do that. They really appreciate the outpouring of advice and support from everyone far and wide.
From personal experience, I know the stress of being self-employed and out of work due to medical issues. I started this campaign in hopes to relieve John and Cheryl so they can solely focus on healing.
