Fundraiser for Carnegie Hall

$470 of $8,000 goal

Raised by 8 people in 8 months
The University of Windsor choirs have been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall on May 19th, 2018! Involved in these choirs are students hailing from various disciplines, from those majoring in music to others who make the journey from the University of Windsor's main campus to the downtown School of Creative Arts. The ensembles are extremely grateful for this opportunity and in order to help front the cost of the trip are holding a cabaret on April 14th. This cabaret will feature a 50/50 draw, a silent auction, a concession stand, and student performances as well as performances from notable faculty members such as Shahida Nurullah, a prominent figure in both the Detroit jazz scene as well as the School of Creative Arts. Event sponsors are being sought for the cabaret with compensation for their efforts being provided in the form of advertisement of businesses/products. The students are the primary organizers of these fundraising efforts and all proceeds from both the cabaret and the GoFundMe page will go directly towards the cost of the trip.
