Funding Kentucky Filmmaker

Throughout my entire life I've always had an obsession with the world of filmmaking. I was the only kid you knew who would spend hours watching Behind-the-scenes features and documentaries before watching the actual movie itself. I fell in love with the idea of being able to capture an idea or emotion and sharing it through a story. Around 10 years old I figured out how to use Windows Movie Maker and the rest is history.


For a year or so now I've been trying to get the ball rolling on a few projects but due to lack of actors, money, and equipment I have finally decided to turn to help. I have notebooks filled with stories, scripts and ideas and now I just need help with getting them off of paper and onto a screen.

You wouldn't be just helping me make a short film, you'd be helping me afford equipment and resources that I will be able to use over and over to eventually build a career off of.

Normally I wouldn't ask for help but this is much bigger than what I'm able to manage on my own. I don't have family or a nice fruitful career to help support much of anything right now I'm just a working student with a thirst for creating movies.

For a little insight, one of the projects I'm currently working on is an anthology series temporarily titled "Midnight Mind" consisting of episodes that each feature a different disjointed story, much like "The Twilight Zone" "Tales from the crypt" or "Are You Afraid Of The Dark?"



Funds will be going toward:
-Equipment (lighting, audio, etc)
-Third party artists/SFX
-Props and location
-Actors (You'd be surprised how many people aren't willing to run around a haunted house hours on end for free??)
-Travel Expenses/Set locations
-Legal Fees
