Heat and food for Firehawke

My friend, John Peasley, has a lot of medical problems he simply cannot afford to cover on his own.
John is from Apache Junction, Arizona. His father was exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam and the damaged genes he inherited have given him health problems all his life. He has a weak immune system, nerve damage, sleeping problems, hearing loss, and uses a breathing machine for sleep apnea. Last year he crumpled under exhaustion and we thought he was facing heart failure, but he finally found some doctors who didn't just pat him on the head and send him away and has since been managing his pain and difficulties.
Doing that is REALLY expensive though, and he's not healthy enough to return to work, so I'm seeking help to keep food and heat in his house.
John is called "Firehawke" online, a guy who's known for tinkering with computers, possessing a rich knowledge of video game history, founding a group of gaming and streaming enthusiasts called The Sanctuary Crew, assisting with MAME development, livestreaming for the Extra Life charity, and making endless puns. Me and a couple of his closest friends are maintaining this campaign and basically just trying to help him make it through the year 2018.
