Hi I am Daryl and thank you for visiting my gofundme. I'm powerchair user that facing losing my independence.
What? Why ? How?
I have lived in the same house for 20 years.
I have rare conditon called Marfan Syndrome which means my joints dislocate and in more pain than I would wish on anyone. I also have uncontrolled epilepsy with over 10 fits a week, which leads to urgency to move house.
Over last few years I have seen my health get worse and worse to stage that I am having to move in to special bungalow but I can not do that without your support! I can’t afford to move without your support, I also need a specialist wheelchair would can cost over £3500.
I currently live in council house which has 4 bedrooms upstairs these are not used has me and brother are both wheelchair users. My brother had hypothermia last year has she couldn’t afford to heat the house.
If you cant donate money then I would appreciate your time in helping me to paint my walls and put up wallpaper.
All my life I have volunteer for others, please support my hour in need.
How funds will be used :
10% used until me and my brother move out/ heating current house / money for food bills
10% moving out ( boxes, wall paper, paint )
30% household goods ( fridge, freezer, sofa)
50% will be used to buy special self propelled. lightweight , made to measure wheelchair. This will allow me to keep the strength I do have left to move around the house.
Why do you want special self propelled. lightweight , made to measure wheelchair when you have little strength left ? Simple answer is that I want to keep the little strength I do have left, has I get weaker each day.
