Back in the spring of 2016, I embarked on a journey that led me from the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania to a new home and new love in Los Angeles, California. I set out with just my phone and my clothes, with a plan to split moving costs with a friend who was to follow a few months later.
What was supposed to be a temporary storage of my belongings on the east coast quickly changed into a longer term situation when that plan fell apart, with my move suddenly becoming a solo act. Injuries, illnesses, and financial setbacks all lined up one after another as I settled into my new city, each time pushing the full move to the back burner as other expenses came up.
Fast forward nearly 2 & 1/2 years, and all of my belongings, including my personal art, my PC, my books, and more are still sitting in storage 3000 miles away. I'm not one to ask for help, but some of my online gaming friends have decided it's time to do this (looking at you, Obs!) and are willing to help make it happen. Any funds raised will go strictly toward moving expenses, mainly to transport my belongings from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to Los Angeles, California.
My sincere thanks to anyone able to contribute to my cause with their time or money. I'm tremendously grateful to be part of such a caring community so willing to go the extra mile for me.
