Hello Everyone,
My mother, Lucy Gonzalez, has been recently diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiform Cancer (GBM).
It all began after she experienced a seizure back in May 2019. The doctors then ordered MRI scans and discovered that she developed a large tumor on the right side of her brain. On Mother's Day, she underwent surgery to remove the mass. The pathology report for the tumor came back positive for cancer.
Glioblastoma Multiform Cancer (GBM) is one of the most aggressive types of brain cancer and quickly spreads into other parts of the brain.
Within 2 months, the tumor has already grown back half its size and also formed 2 other small tumors in her brain. The doctors explained the urgency of beginning treatment. They estimated a 3-4 month life span for my mom without radiation and chemo treatment.
Our family is in desperate need of funds to help pay for my mom’s treatment, as we are currently experiencing difficulties with her insurance.

Although we could have never seen this coming, we chose to trust in God and His sovereign plan for my mother’s life. We believe that Jesus is faithful no matter what season we find ourselves in, and is working everything out for our good.
No, it hasn’t been the easiest, in fact it’s been the most gut-wrenching and terrifying experience for us all. But, that is why we need one another and must lean on God for strength during this time. Ultimately, He has the final say, and we are praying for a miracle.

Mi madre, Lucy González, ha sido diagnosticada recientemente con Glioblastoma Multiform Cancer (GBM) en estadio 4.
Todo comenzó después de que sufrió una convulsión en mayo de 2019. Luego, los médicos ordenaron exploraciones de resonancia magnética y descubrieron que desarrolló un gran tumor en el lado derecho de su cerebro. En el día de la madre, se sometió a una cirugía para extirpar la masa. El informe de patología para el tumor resultó positivo para el cáncer.

Nuestra familia tiene una necesidad desesperada de fondos para ayudar a pagar el tratamiento de mi madre, ya que actualmente estamos teniendo dificultades con su seguro.
