Gelila Mesfin fund for the artist

Support artist/student Gelila Mesfin and her inspiring Artwork
Hoping to raise a bit of support for the artist behind the mesmerizing mural in Chicago of Michelle Obama. Especially as she was not considered or even aware of how much attention and awe would soon come to her work.

This campaign will benefit the artist and all contributions will go directly to her.

Chris Devins and his Michelle Obama Mural project has raised over $11.5k, I was a supporter to that campaign unaware that he had copied the work. 

I donated to his fund only to learn that months ago the image (the one which gave that whole empowered feeling) was actually the work of Gelila Mesfin @thick_east_african_girl 

Hopefully his lack of respect for Ms. Gelila Mesfin and her work will end up providing exposure to the very talented artist behind the mural he errected in Chicago as his original idea.

Hoping others do not contribute to the non artist, as I did, I created this campaign to benefit Gelila Mesfin, who is the sole beneficiary of any funds raised by this campaign. Let's show her some support!
