Fund for education in Tanzania
Donation protected
In under a month I'm going to travel to Tanzania with my school, and as a group we've aimed to raise £10,000. This money is completely non-profit, as we're using it to help fund the Amani centre - a school for disabled children in Tanzania. The Amani centre is extremely important, as it is home to 50 disabled children, many of whom are orphans. The disabled in Tanzania are often seen as 'cursed' or unclean, and so recieve very little support elsewhere. This is why we're planning on helping the centre in every way we can - physically and with money. With the money we raise here, and with what we have raised over the past few months, we will be buying seeds for planting maize and vegetables to help their harvest; as well as providing for the families (soap, and basic foodstuffs); and supporting the secondary education of Amani children, as secondary education is not free in Tanzania, along with school uniform, supplies, and school facilities. Any donations would be so appreciated, as even a small amount will make a big difference in Tanzania. To find out more about our charity, visit http://amanicentremorogoro.weebly.com
