Guzzoline to FTC World Championship

We're headed to the FTC World Championship!

At the South Super Regional Championship we were chosen by Team Mechanical Marauders as an alliance partner for the semi-finals, we were a finalist for the Promote Award, and we received the 2nd Place Think Award -- this accomplishment earned us a place at the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) World Championship in St. Louis, MO, April 27 - 30, 2016.

We have much to do to prep for competition with teams from around the world. We will need to upgrade our pit and our robot; purchase spare parts (both mechanical and control hardware); and help fund the enormous travel and lodging expenses incurred by our team members.

Guzzoline Robotics FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Team 7300 has just returned from placing first at the North Carolina State Championship. Our 1st Place Winning Alliance and the highly coveted 1st Place Inspire Award mean that Guzzoline will represent North Carolina at the Southern Regionals in San Antonio, TX, March 9 – 11, 2016. These honors bring us closer to our ultimate goal—qualifying for the World Championship, in mid-April in St. Louis, MO.

We now need to take our robot to the next level, purchase backup parts, fly to and house our team members in San Antonio TX and be ready for winning again and advancing to Worlds.
