I had the surgery! I make jokes now about always needing a mop and bucket. I will be healing for the next few months, and once I'm "back to normal", I need to proceed to radiation for the little bits of cancer left behind. Right now I feel great, and I'm working every day. And my now 21 year old son is staying with me for the summer.
I'm grateful always for your support and my job which pays quite nicely. That said, I still owe a lot to a lot of people I've been putting off for a while. Everyday stuff like car registration, car insurance, a credit card, a cel phone account, the dentist for new caps on my teeth, and I will still need to pay co-pays on my many visits to Doctor's offices and the hospital, my taxes, you know, everyday stuff. I should have enough for rent. You all have been awesome! Thank you! Whatever you can do, I am always grateful!
