Friend Needs Help for Medical Issue

$1,040 of $1,000 goal

A few months ago, my great friend Thomas Revor was admitted to the hospital for what was thought to be a stroke.

Since that time, he has had issues keeping his balance and hearing.

Doctors now think he might have Multiple Sclerosis, but he is still waiting for 100 percent confirmation on the diagnosis.

In any case, this has left him disabled from work and limited his income, which is bad enough. But earlier this month some bureaucratic mix-up caused his disability payment to be delayed, resulting in his bank account being overdrawn and him getting hit with extra burdensome financial penalties due insufficient funds and several expenses having their payments delayed.

To top it all off, his vehicle broke down on him and had to be taken into the shop, adding yet ANOTHER unexpected expense.

So, I am here to raise some funds to help him get things back on track.

He has always been willing to help me out when I need it. As well as anyone else who has needed it. He always works hard and strives to do his best with whatever situation he finds himself in. He is not my brother, but he might as well be.

If possible, please donate what you can so we can make THIS situation at least a little more bearable.

Thank you very much for your time.

Hello there, good people.

Thom wanted to give some words of personal thanks to all who contributed to this GFM.

So, without further ado, here is what he asked me to post:

"As I write this, "It's a Wonderful Life" is just ending. And if there
is anything that sums up where I've been, it's this movie.

The problems which I've recently had, which have been just more on a lot
of things in my life are counterbalanced by the compassion and
friendship which people are showing me.

I've never been good at accepting help, and even worse at thanking
people for their help. And that's a failing I need to correct.

Evan Phillips, who has been a heck of a friend and the one who started
this, is someone who I am glad to count among my small circle of
friends. Bill Schwab is another. And my new friends in both the
University of Texas at Dallas Bronies and the Dallas/Fort Worth Bronies
are there too.

Not to mention my family.

I am beyond humbled for everything which everyone has done for me.

Thank you."

And I, too, would like to express my gratitude again. Thank you, so much. :)

I am blown away by the support Thom has been given and so is he.

I wish I could come up with the words worthy of the generosity on display here, but I doubt I could ever conjur them.

Thank you all so much for helping here. I really am floored by it. :)

This past Friday, Thom had another bout of extreme nausea and dizziness and had to be rushed to the emergency room via ambulance.

He is doing better now, but it certainly didn't help the situation.

Thanks again to those who have already donated and please share this around if you can so we can help a nice dude get back on his feet.
