Safe Harbor Cat Sanctuary

My name is Kathern Slaughter i am the owner of oc pet spa.  I am also a board member of town cats of oc.  We are a non profit animal rescue.  The property is where seahawk and sinepuxent Rd meet.  We are currently rehabbing ourselves so the  cost is minimal.  Hoping to do the demolition of the damaged space before winter.  Hope to pour concrete and fence early spring. Since opening my business in OC I have worked with several rescue groups and the biggest hurdle seems to be where to safely take all the "not so adoptable" kittys.  I have acquired a property with an existing chicken house and several outbuildings that I plan to rehab.  My plan is to fence several acres for a "free roaming" habitat for these cats.  In addition to $ we could use lumber, insulation and misc construction supplies.  Anyone interested in helping in any other way can stop by or call me at oc pet spa in west oc.
