Dear Friends and Family,
My name is Eduardo Anguiano and I am an alumni of Franklin High School in Los Angeles, CA. I grew up in the neighborhood and have always been an active member of the Franklin High School family. I participated on the Franklin football team until I graduated in 2003. I left my hometown when I enlisted in the US Marine Corps for 4 years only to return again to help coach the Franklin football team under the guidance of Head Coach Narcisco Diaz, who also played alongside me on the team during high school.
Head Coach Diaz, the team and I have dedicated countless hours all season practicing drills and preparing for the annual championship game. Our dedicated efforts have paid off- we took home the
LA City Championship!
In light of our success, we would love to reward our team with championship rings and a year-end banquet awards ceremony to commemorate this exciting achievement. The goal is to re invogorate support for the Footbal program. I believe that acknowledging the players and their hard work will get people excited about being a Panther again.Unfortunately, due to constant budget cuts, our school funding does not cover these expenses.
With your support it will be a wonderful experience with the boys to receive championship rings in front of their proud parents. So I am reaching out to you and to our community to ask that you kindly contribute to our goal so that we may purchase team championship rings and host a celebratory banquet dinner for our team to present the recognitions.
The funds will be distributed as follow:
Championship rings at $250 per piece for 35 players that's $8750
A reception to present the rings to the players alongside their parents. We need to cover the location, food, music, etc. Cost will be around $5000
Any funds left will go directly to the Football Program.
If you can find it in your hearts to give anything to our cause, whether it be a dollar or more, we would be eternally grateful for your selfless generosity. I can only imagine the joy that your kind gift would bring to the team. Thank you very much.
