I'm Fran, a gender/queer disabled part-time student. Due to my condition, I'm unable to work, especially while studying.
In June, my dog Frida had an intestinal obstruction that required emergency surgery. Paying for her life-saving treatment set me back 1000€.
A couple of weeks later, I moved into an accessible flat. This has been a huge improvement on my quality of life, but unfortunately I'm still severely lacking in funds. Financial aid does not cover nearly enough of the astronomical rent for an accessible flat, and I'm in dire need of some more household items, too. The most important and most expensive one would be an electric vacuum cleaner, among many other things.
Additionally, the new semester is coming up, and with that, tuition costs of around 200€. I'm also collecting for a new laptop since I have a temporary replacement for my previous one but really need something a lot more functional in the long run.
Anything you can give would be hugely appreciated, by both me and Frida. Your donations will go towards regular living expenses and the items mentioned above.
