Fox and Moon Tearoom- Store
Fox and Moon Tea would love to open a retail space and provide a tea and event oasis for our community. Our space will provide a place for people to visit and enjoy a wide range of excellent teas. We will also provide a means for supporting local artists and fellow creators through rotating local products selection at our store, as well as through hosting special events.
We have been operating as a traveling tea event and retail popup since 2005 and have provided a wide variety of special tea events (both public and private) for the past 12 years. We source single origin teas and collectible teaware representing the rich diversity of tea customs and styles from around the world which are available at our website and traveling tea events. We also have our own line of one-of-a kind gift sets, signature tea blends and culinary tea products.
I have recently been offered a great retail space in alameda, CA, but cannot currently afford the build out of the space in addition to the overhead rent.
This financial support will help cover the costs of opening a retail storefront and would include getting new equipment, furniture and some coverage with the first few months of overhead costs as I establish my local presence.
This will enable be to realize my long held desire to transition fully into doing my tea business which I have been running in the Bay Area since 2005.
I would be immeasurably excited to evolve Fox and Moon Tea to this next stage and to support for my community and my love of tea with all of you.
