foreWARD - Compensating the Actors

Back in 2015, Cody and I started work on a project we entitled "foreWARD." This is intended to be a pitch for an animated series, which we are still hard focused on at the moment. However, with the animatic for the pilot episode complete, it's about time we start giving back to the actors that graciously worked for us for free. Unfortunately, we do not have the financial ability to do so out of our own pockets, so we're hoping that we can get a little help on the way.

Our goal of 1200 is actually more than enough to cover our actors and the GoFundMe charges, but I've added the extra cushion to help compensate Cody, who not only voiced two characters but drew all but two assets for the project. In order to do this, he had to cut his hours at his job over the last year to dedicate the necessary time for all of the artwork involved, so anything beyond what we pay to the actors will be going towards Cody and our personal savings investment for the future of foreWARD.

It would mean the absolute world to us to get the extra help as we start kicking this pitch around. Our cast has been so supportive, patient, and wonderful, from initial recording sessions to constant pick-up and redo requests as things evolved, and I want to be able to return their kindness as they absolutely deserve the recognition and compensation for their efforts.

It has been a long two years, and we don't intend to let things go to waste, even if it means taking another two years. But before we can do anything more, we'd like your help in paying the actors, as well as proving that there is an audience for the story we want to tell. Your support, be it monetary or sharing, is the foundation we need to move... foreWARD.
