Fordham University Campus Cats

Donation protected
In New York City there are always feral (wild) cats roaming around the streets, usually these cats are fed by people who hate to see them go hungry.  At Fordham University-Rose HIll Campus-Bronx NY, we have this exact situation.  The students and staff of the campus have been feeding the feral cats on campus for years.  Yet, what they haven't realized is that cats can multiply throughout the year and create more cats to feed.  This small colony of 10 cats, turns into 20, turns into 30, and so on.  A group of volunteers from Rockland County, New York is willing to Trap, Neuter and Return the cats.  This is a process that is done to keep the cats from multiplying all over the country.  The grounds people at Fordham believe bringing the cats to the local shelter would be best. However, the shelters are full and may actually euthanize the feral cats due to their lack of space.

Please help us trap, spay/neuter and take care of these cats on campus.  We will be able to place the smaller kittens in foster care and return those older cats after their spay/neuter procedure.

Any amount will help with the costs of the spay/neuter surgery and any possible post-op medical care.

Thank you!
