Help Trenton Fire Victims

Hi. My name is Andrzej Weiss and I’m the owner of “Spojnik,” a small business by Brunswick Ave. in Trenton, NJ. On Sunday night and Monday morning (11/21/2016), a fire consumed nine houses in my immediate neighborhood by Weinberg Pl. In just a few hours, almost thirty individuals lost everything, including the roof over their heads and their entire livelihood. A number of our friends, men and women of good will, stepped up immediately by opening their homes and providing items of necessity. Yet we know that for victims of the fire this Thanksgiving was not the one they had imagined. With Christmas around the corner, let’s make sure they can experience some measure of joy. To this end, our neighborhood is pooling relief donations. We will transfer them in their entirety to the victims of the disaster in mid-December. The collection on “gofundme.com” is only a part of our relief effort. Today we ask for your help. An equitable distribution of the donations will be presided over by a team consisting of business and community leaders representing: Amber Bakery, Henry’s Deli, Agency Pomerania and Agency “Spojnik.”

Nazywam się Andrzej Weiss i jestem właścicielem małego biznesu o nazwie „Spójnik” zlokalizowanego przy Brunswick Ave., w Trenton NJ (www.spojnik.com).  W nocy z niedzieli na poniedziałek (11/21/2016) pożar strawił 9 domów w moim bliskim sąsiedztwie na Weinberg Pl. Prawie 30 osób, w kilka godzin, straciło dach nad głową i cały swój dobytek.  Wielu ludzi dobrej woli natychmiast przystąpiło do pomocy udostępniając pogorzelcom swoje mieszkania i darowując przedmioty pierwszej potrzeby. Pomimo to możemy sobie wyobrazić, że ich Thanksgiving z pewnością nie należał do udanych. Sprawmy by mieli szczęśliwsze święta Bożego Narodzenia. W tym celu w gronie sąsiadów miejsca pożaru rozpoczęliśmy zbiórkę pieniędzy, które w całości przekażemy poszkodowanym w połowie grudnia. Ta zbiórka na „gofundme” to fragment tej akcji. Prosimy pomóżcie. Nad sprawiedliwym podziałem zebranych funduszy czuwać będzie zespół złożony z przedstawicieli firm: Amber Bakery, Henry's Deli, Agencja Pomerania i Agencja "Spójnik".
