For the fast recovery of Shim

Hi everyone! This is Shim from Aklan, Iloilo. About 4 months, she suffered severe 2nd degree burns on majority of her body from exposure to gasoline that caught on fire. She was brought to a local hospital where she underwent several operations and had to stay in the ICU for 2 months. Over the course of their stay in the local hospital, they wracked up a hospital bill of about 1 million PHP. Shim's mother is a regular housewife and her father worked on a fishing boat out in Manila, but since Shim's accident her father hasn't been able to work. After her stay at the local hospital, they advised the family to go home and have Shim undergo physical therapy at home but Shim's condition worsened while at home. Her wounds had severe infection, she had stage 4 pressure ulcers and she had contractures on both her arms and legs. After about one month at home, Shim's parents brought her to Iloilo Mission Hospital to seek medical attention for her infections and bed sores. Shim underwent another operation for debridement and is still admitted at Mission Hospital. She is undergoing physical therapy and her doctors are looking into skin grafting. The parents are both out of work- they would like to ask for help in paying the hospitals bills and for Shim's skin grafting. Anything will help the family to bring Shim to recovery! Thank you.
