Hailey Morton and Yuval Rosenthal are making a run for the President and Vice President of the Student Body at Colorado State University. Hailey Morton is currently in her 3rd year at Colorado State University. She is seeking a triple major in Political Science, Spanish, and Women’s Studies with a minor in Latin American Studies. Hailey has always been passionate about politics and has worked extensively in state and local politics. Hailey has worked on the elections and reelections of Secretary Hillary Clinton, Senator Michael Bennet, Representative Jared Polis, State Senator John Kefalas, State Representative Jeni Arndt, and State Representative Joann Ginal. Hailey is currently a legislative intern at the Colorado State Capitol for Senator Steve Fenberg.
Yuval Rosenthal is a sophomore at Colorado State University and is majoring in Both Economics and Political Science. He is also an athlete for the CSU Men’s D1 Ice Hockey Team, current Associate Senator at the ASCSU Legislative Branch, and a veteran of the Israeli Defense Forces. He was born and raised in the state of Israel, resided in several parts of Canada, and ended up here in Fort Collins to pursue an education at Colorado State University. Upon his arrival here, he immediately fell in-love with our beautiful school and the Fort Collins community, this is why he was inspired to run for the Vice Presidency of ASCSU.
Hailey Morton and Yuval Rosenthal are working to create a student government that is transparent and works for ALL CSU students. It is time that we increase engagement in student government and make ASCSU responsible to the student body as a whole, not just it's members.
