Support Stacey, & Gil's Memorial

How can one person mean so much to so many? Gil Ray meant something uniquely different to ​the ​hundreds of people who knew him. ​Gil​ will always be remembered for his superb and creative musical talent, for his snarky and silly humor, for his warm welcome of every fan, and for his loving loyalty to his family and close friends. No one can ever replace ​Gil Ray.

We are all fortunate to have been part of his life and music. On Gil’s last day, we told him that we would look after his beloved wife, Stacey. He was able to say, “I know you will.” And he meant it. ​Gil​ had great faith in his friends and it brought him comfort to know that we meant it. Right now, Stacey​ ​has a lot of ​financial ​responsibilities to deal with​, ​including arranging ​Gil's​ cremation​ and ​memorial, ​many medical bills, and maintaining their condominium. In addition, ​Stacey's​ income has been cut in half without Gil​'s and there is no life insurance or other widow benefits available to her now.

We would like to give her a helping hand right now so that she doesn’t need to be worrying about money. If you can add something to this fund, no matter how much, we would feel so much better about our promise to Gil.
