For Our Charlie

Donation protected
Charles Spenser Finnegan Bledsoe “Charlie” died suddenly, at home, on July 16, 2018. A lover of LEGOs, OverWatch, video games and memes, Charlie’s imagination, sense of humor and unique outlook on life delighted every one who knew him—Charlie made people laugh.

Born on January 17, 2008 to Alex Bledsoe and Valette Piper-Bledsoe, Charlie did everything early—walk, talk, run. He was known at Children’s Community School, where he attended for many years, as the “Boy Of Many Words” because when he started talking, it was in sentences. Or paragraphs. And he had a lot to say. Charlie never met a stranger, only friends he didn’t know yet, and could talk to anyone about anything. Smart and artistic, he loved to read, write, draw and create.

The loss of Charlie has brought  true heartbreak to all who knew and loved him. Unfortunately with this, his family will also have extensive funeral costs. Please consider taking a small bit of this burden off of their shoulders and donate whatever you can to offset these costs. During this difficult time our families, our friends and our community can help ease the financial burden while the Bledsoe family grieves the loss of their beautiful child.

There is another Go Fund Me account that was started at the same time. You can view it here .

All funds will go directly to the Bledsoe Family. Anything that is "extra" that is raised the family plans to donate to a suicide prevention group, and also to fund one or two "scholarships" (registrations) at Camp Invention next summer. Charlie loved, loved, loved Camp Invention.
