DuShon Monique Brown passed away, suddenly, on the morning of March 23. She was a beloved member of our Chicago Fire cast, but more importantly, a mother, a daughter, a counselor. A sweet, warm, and generous woman.
We are shocked, and will miss her immensely. She is survived by her 14 year old daughter, and fiancé.
Despite her visibility and involvement in a television show, DuShon’s full time job was as a Chicago Public School’s counselor.
Please join us in offering DuShon and family support during this very difficult time. Your generosity will help fund the cost of funeral arrangements and other financial burdens that her family must shoulder.
