For Braddah Walt Kanehiwas Kids

$2,245 of $8,000 goal

Raised by 18 people in 1 month

A great friend of mine of 20 years Braddah Walt Kanehiwa passed away unexpectedly at the age of 58 on July 7, 2018. He is survived by a two great kids (Keanu and Peyton) and his wife Linda who wrote this on his Facebook wall on July 8th:

"As many of you know by now, Walt passed away suddenly late yesterday afternoon as a result of what, most likely, was a cardiac arrest. Without going into detail, he became unconscious and unresponsive while we were at a friend’s party. Despite extensive efforts to resuscitate him, due to his history of a “weak” heart, he never regained consciousness and passed away. Thankfully, we were with our hula family when this occurred.

As I have been reading your posts on FB, I am truly grateful for the prayers & kind words you have offered. In addition, it has been overwhelming to see how Walt made an impact on so many people & knowing this has been a source of comfort to me during this difficult time."

He is also survived by extended family and friends who love and miss him dearly.

I asked her permission to set up a GoFund me account for immediate expenses and to set aside some funds for Keanu and Peyton's education.

All funds will go to his wife Linda on behalf of their children Keanu and Peyton. Please donate what you can to Mr. Aloha's family. Mahalo. Mahalo. Mahalo.

Thank you to everyone who donated $1,145 so far.

I miss Braddah Walt Kanehiwa so much. I thought it was him calling me to talk story at 7:12 a.m. but it was his wife Linda calling me from his cell phone to inform me that he passed away the day before. It hit me hard.

His two great kids Keanu and Peyton are his world so your donations are greatly appreciated.
