Kisa and Jahans House Fire Recovery

Donation protected
If you live in Montpelier Vermont, you heard about the  eight-unit apartment building fire on the corner of Loomis and Upper Main Streets Tuesday January 2, 2018.  Not a good way to start off the new year.  Well that is where our good friends Kisa Knight and Jahan Von Trapp live!

Here is a link to the WCAX article reporting that the Montpelier Fire Department along with seven nearby departments had to respond in subzero temperatures!  Kudos to you brave men and women on your efforts to make sure everyone got out safe and sound.

Kisa and Jahan have been staying in local hotel, but need to get long term-temporary housing ASAP!  Jahan is a Junior at Montpelier High School and therefore staying in the school district is of highest importance.  They are working with their current landlord who is pulling out all the stops to find something but if you have any leads on temporary housing please send an email to kisak937.gmail.com.

Also because Kisa does a fair amount of her work from home, her income stream is also going to be slow to recover until housing is secured.

Anything you can do to help this family out right now is greatly appreciated!  Thank you for your support!
