Hello everyone! My name is Haileigh Todd, and I am an actress/director/screenwriter in Dallas, Texas. I am best known for my role as "Eve Rosser" in Felicia Day's "Morganville" show, based off the original book series "The Morganville Vampires" by Rachel Caine.

I am seeking funding for a pilot for television I have written called Footsteps. The series will be a post-apocalyptic 7 epsiode series set in the future and done entirely in the style of Steampunk! It will be a retelling of classic Greek mythological stories set in modern day scenarios, with gripping plot twists, fast-paced action, chilling drama, and sprinkled with light hearted comic relief.

The pilot is set at 90 minutes, is split to be filmed as two episodes, and will be filmed over a period of 25 days. We plan to pitch the series for network pickup to media hosts such as Netflix and Amazon Prime as an original series, and cable network pickup as well. Our current budget for the pilot is set at $300,000, to cover the developmental costs of the production.

Award winning Texas film festival producer, Jena Waldron (A Convenient Man, Amazin' Grace, Entity), has joined us as our executive producer. James Burgess, winner of "Best Cinematography" at the Los Angeles Idyllwild Film Festival this year, will be our director of photography, and John Pinder (Puppet Man, I Am Emma) will be our director. Airship Albatross is the Texas-based steampunk company doing our costumes (who also designed the Dixon brothers' outfits for The Walking Dead, as well as the entire wardrobe for Justin Bieber's Christmas music video).

If you are not familiar with steampunk, it is a genre all on it's own, which combines elements of the Victorian, turn-of-the-century style of dress and ideals with the mechanized future. Think saloon girls with highly advanced weapons, or Vaudeville carnies who are also half cyborg. Steam trains, flying airships, thick goggles, and magical shiny gadgets everywhere! My interpretation will be more reminiscent of a post-World War 1 era, with bright towering cities and desolate wastelands that will remind you of a futuristic Game of Thrones.

Anyone that contributes $100, or more, gets a gift box, with an official Footsteps t-shirt, and a plethora of awesome steam-punk garb and goodies.

Anything over $500, and you will also receive a DVD box set of the entire first season when it becomes available.

Anything beyond $10,000 will also get you a seat to the private red carpet screening of the pilot episode and a day on set, with personal down time with the actors and crew members.

If any of you could donate even the smallest bit, your name will ALSO be added to the credits at the end of the episode! If you are fans of shows and movies like Supernatural, Stranger Things, Dr. Who, Star Trek, Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, or The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, this show is definitely for you!
