Walk for Charity to BC (5500KM's)
UPDATE:
Bret and Nymeria have reached British Columbia!!!
They have walked over 5000 Km's but the adventure is far from over!
There is still 500 Km's left of their Adventure and they still have to Climb Whistler Mountain!
Bret's two son's James and Braydon are flying out to meet him and Nymeria as there will be a welcoming party and press confrence for them once they arrive!
They Plan on Driving back together taking the same route they walked and stopping along the way to thank everybody who they met and who helped out!
We want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts to the people who’ve donated and supported us thus far, we couldn’t have gotten this far without you.
Now we’re asking for more people to get involved to helo finish this walk and get them home!
Hello everyone, this is the 2nd Go Fund Me page for my dad who is Walking from Toronto Ontario to Whistler BC (5500 KM) to raise awareness for children's mental health with no sponsorship or road-side support.
We decided to make a second Go Fund Me starting from zero because the amount raised from the first half of the campaign ($3298.00) was reportedly putting people off from donating, thinking there was still money in the bank. Although $3298.00 has been generously donated by 45 donors all that money has been spent to cover the first 3000KM’s of the walk.
We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the people who’ve donated and supported us thus far, we couldn’t have gotten this far without you. Now we’re asking for more people to get involved to keep this walk going and finish the second leg!

What We Need
We need funding to continue the Journey and buy supplies for the coming winter he's going to endure and travel through in the Harsh Canadian Prairies.
Money donated will go to buying supplies to continue the walk-
Supplies like a
-Proper tent rated for the conditions he will face.
-Proper sleeping bag rated for temperatures dipping to under -20 and below. suitable attire in clothes, footwear, outerwear. Cooking supplies and Food, Road support to replenish his supplies at certain points of the journey.
What You Get
As we are doing this for charity what we offer you is the gratification of knowing you supported a great cause and brought awareness to an issue that effects us all. We will send you a Sticker and a Post card that states you supported 'Follow our Walk' and helped spread awareness for mental health issues in Canada.

Risks & Challenges
As anyone who lives in Canada knows the winters can be very harsh. A big challenge will be braving the elements and the cold and surviving in the coming months.
The biggest challenge has been trying to fund this Journey as we have had no financial support and any money spent so far has been donated by family and friends and also by my dad and I. We came much short of our initial goal of $25,000 but he decided to began the journey anyways and hoped that raising awareness along the way would help fund the rest!
