Focus Ability WorkAble Solutions helps adults with uneven cognitive abilities find and maintain employment in BC. Currently there is no funding for these adults through either WorkBC or CLBC.
We help those who cannot afford our program privately, support local social programs, and pay for much needed therapies that are not covered by BC Medical. We get people off of PWD (Person's with Disability) social assistance and help them gain independence from their families and a place in their community.
We are creating videos of our success stories to show others both the issues and the path to success. We have already started paying for the video series and have several social programs in place. Our Employment program needs funds to grow across BC.
Each person who is helped by you and Focus Ability WorkAble Solutions is grateful for helping them take charge of their own employment and community social needs and supports. Together we can make a difference as terrific talents should never be wasted by lack of social abilities.
