Little Jack's hip surgery

Jack is an adorable, seven month old west highland terrier. He was born with a dislocated hip that causes constant pain for him. He hardly uses his bad leg, and has trouble with running. He just got a new ball to play with, and he loves it, but he gets tired after a minute or so. My heart sink seeing him not able to play or simply walk like our other dogs. (We have also two Golden retrievers and a Tibetan terrier, so Jack is in a good company.)
We didn't know that he was ill when we had bought him. My son wanted a small breed dog to have a friend. He got one. Jack follows him anywhere he goes. We suspected that he had some kind of problem, when we saw that Jack didn't use his left back leg as he should. Often, he was jumping around instead of walking, using only the right leg. Usually he sat in an unnatural position. Sometimes when we picked him up he cried out of pain. We had to see a veterinary.
Unfortunately Jack's hip is dislocated, the bone isn't in the right place. He could live with it, it's not life threatening, but it pains us to see him suffer.
Learning this we had two options: we take him back to the shop or keep him. The veterinary said that if we took him back, it was likely that they would put him to sleep. They wouldn't make the effort and pay the cost to get him better, it was a business for them. Say it as it is: they would kill Jack. That wasn't an option, we just couldn't do it. How could we?
So he became the member of our family and the member of "the pack". We went to see a vet who was specialized in surgeries, and we were happy to learn that he could help Jack. After the surgery Jack could walk much better, use his both back legs, even run and chase the ball. He could live a full live without constant pain. The only problem is that it would cost us hundreds of euros (we live in Belgium). The surgery itself would be 700 euros, then we'd need further consultations and treatments.
So we are asking for your kind help to change Jack's life for the better. We are grateful for any donation you can make.
