Send Skye on holiday
Skye was due to go to Butlins this August, everything was paid for and then her family received a call saying the people they had booked their caravan with didnt have any caravans on the Butlins site anymore!
They contacted the caravan owner and were told there is no vans and he doesnt have their money. Little Skye and her family were devastated again.
Skye is 6 years old and she has Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma a rare soft tissue cancerous tumour, Skye's tumour is inoperable and was the size of an adult fist, roughly 6x5x4cm, and it was located behind her nose, spreading backwards to the base of her skull. She was treated at Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital, where she has had a year of intense chemotherapies, then had to endure 31 rounds of Proton radiation which included 32 general anaesthetics in Jacksonville Florida, where she spent 2 and half months away from her siblings, She has lost the vision in her left eye, she still hasnt been given all clear but yet she continues to smile.
Only last week Skye completed the Race for Life to help others and now this has happened to her, and its not fair.
I just want to raise enough to be able to send this little girl on a holiday that she absolutely deserves.

Skye's Story
December 23rd, Skye got up out of bed and her left eye had turned inwards overnight.
We took her to Specsavers that morning and were told she was very long sighted and needed glasses, he was also going to refer Skye to the hospital regarding the sudden turn in her eye.
Christmas Day came and Skye opened her presents as normal, but 2 hours later she was exhausted and was falling asleep on the sofa. She didnt like the lights being on as they hurt her eyes, she complained headaches, she had mood swings. We gave Skye a small piece of chocolate and she was energetic again, so we suspected she might have been diabetic.
December 27th, we made Skye an appointment with Dr Aung at our GP surgery and described her symptoms to him, he agreed to test her for diabetes, he did the tests but they showed she wasnt. Dr Aung looked in her eyes and did many other tests, then he asked us to take her to the Childrens Assessment Unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, 10 hours in the CAU and 1 CT scan later, they told us there was something there that shouldnt be, but they didnt know what it was.
The doctor said we could take Skye home as she'd had enough and just wanted to go.
December 28th, we went back to CAU and were told someone at Manchester had looked at the CT images and it was a tumour, we needed to take her to Manchester Childrens Hospital, Ward 84 right away. We were just both devastated.
The doctor there knew we wouldnt be able to drive, so they sent us to Manchester in a taxi.
This is where Skye's journey began.
She would go on to have 6 months of intense chemotherapy, consisting of Ifosfamide, Vincristine and Doxorubicin.
9 weeks separated from her siblings, sent to Florida for Proton radiation.
Then moved onto maintenance chemotherapy, consisting of Cyclophosphamide and Vinorelbine.
Many MRI’s, and lots of hospital appointments.
