Fluffernutter the dog was shot.Help

From my friend:" I'm sorry everyone for late update, this has been the icing on the cake so to speak on an extremely overwhelming and depressing month. We are praying that Fluffernutter will be ok until she can get to the vet in the morning. The emergency vet said she would be so I sure hope they know what they are talking about. The girls are a wreck, the last thing they need in their little lives is to see more violence, and now I'm scared to even let my kids play outside.
