FLO BRO 2.0

On March 20th a very good friend, Florencio Irizarry, had and survived a massive heart attack. The road to recovery will be a difficult and long one for him, but once recovered we will be blessed with his presence and company for many many more years! 

For those of you who know FLO you know that he is passionate, hard working, adventurous, honest, creative, and is a mechanical genius. Flo very rarely asks for anything, including, he has not asked anyone to rally behind him to do this.

2 Days after being released from the ICU, and one week after his heart attack Flo went back to work as he is not in a financial situation where he can take time off. Flo recognized right away that he was going to do serious long term damage wrenching on bicycles with a heart operating at about 50% and a 5lb lifting restriction. To make a strong recovery FLO MUST take time off work.

Now at the worst possible time his car also broke down greately limiting his ability to mobilize him self to the medical appointments that he definitely needs to get to.

Flows bills are stacking up but his work must not resume before he has recovered enough to actually return to work. FLO needs his car running and he needs to NOT be out there wrenching on it him self as he plans to do!

I am assuming that FLO will need at a minimum to take a couple months off of work to put his focus on the #1 most important thing in his life right now, his recovery. Maybe he will need more time and maybe not, either way  right now he needs recovery time more than anything.

I hope to be able to give FLO some good financial support by mid May, roughly a month from now. Weather or not $10k will cut it for FLO I don't know, it is still to early to know when he will be ready to go back to work, I do know it will help him out a lot more than doing nothing.
