The Fleckenstein Brewery was in business for 108 years and served Faribault and the surrounding communities.
This is a vintage 1946 Chevrolet. It is the only Fleckenstein Brewery delivery truck known to exist. It has been privately owned and located in a stand of trees for over forty years. Knowing its importance to our history and that if something isn't done now, the truck will be damaged beyond repair, the owner has generously donated this truck to the Rice County Historical Society (RCHS).
Our goal is to raise enough money to ensure that the Fleck's Beer truck can be restored to its former glory and be on display indoors as well as be driven and shown during special occasions. With your donation and your support, it can again come back to life. Our thanks, to you, from the Rice County Historical Society, for helping to preserve this very rare part of history.
