Hello, this is Jeanine and Karen. Our brother, Eric Elliott needs your help with his medical expenses.  He has been going through cancer treatments and most recently while visiting his family for Christmas became very ill with two very serious infections of the lungs and kidneys.

Eric went into the hospital the day he returned to Seattle and has been in hospital care ever since.  He is also in need of a liver transplant which has been put on hold due to complications from the infections.

Since he has been in the hospital this entire time, he has been unable to work and has no current income.  His hospital bills and doctor bills continue to pile up, as well as his living expenses and bills.  Hence, the reason for this account.

Any contributions would mean the world to Eric.  Many of you who know him know that he would never ask for assistance like this from anyone.  We have set up a goal of $8000.00 and we are hopeful for immediate contributions.

Eric is our big brother and we want him to be able to have a stress free recuperation.  It is difficult enough going through everything he has experienced so far, to have to worry about bills coming in now.   This is why we need your help.

We don't know if you could ever understand how grateful we are to all of you who are able to help.  From our family to yours, we thank you for everything.

Love Karen and Jeanine

Hi, it's that time again for an update on Eric. I know it's been awhile but, a lot has been going on.

The doctors found 4 more lesions on Erics liver. He went in to the hospital yesterday for chemo embolization. They were hoping to get all 4, but they couldn't. There is one that is too small and in an area that would of been too dangerous to get to. In a month he will have another MRI to see if they can go back in and take care of that one and hopefully no more lesions will be found.

Eric is still not able to work. His strength is not what it should be. His voice comes and goes and he needs to rest and take frequent breaks if out and about.

Eric is normally a very strong person. He doesn't give up and continues to try and maintain a positive attitude. This disease and the affects of it are wearing him down. It is an emotional train ride with not knowing if he can continue to take care of his responsibilities.

He does want to thank his friends and family for their continued support and encouragement, their prayers and good "juju" and all that they have done for him.

Eric was able to attend a benefit concert to help raise funds for his care.

Just a short update on Eric. He's been to all his doctors and has taken several tests. Right now he has 2 new lesions on his liver. One that is a pretty good size and is of more concern at this point. The veins in his liver are a little swollen, believed to be caused by the fluid he was retaining. The doctors are unsure what they can do because his blood work ups are fluctuating so much. His enzyme count is too high and they are worried this could be a problem should they attempt to remove the tumor. All his doctors will be meeting to see exactly what their opinions are. If enzyme levels lower they would go in and remove the tumor and possibly the 2nd one. He has not gone back to work due to his voice being affected and the overall weakness this disease has caused. Please continue praying for him and sending positive thoughts his way. He's a good man and a great brother! Thank you.

All in for Eric Elliott has reached 51% of its goal. What a milestone! Eric is so thankful for the donations he has received from family and friends. It makes him feel so loved and helps with his emotional ups and downs.

Eric continues to need his abdomen drained once a week. Twice now they have removed over 7 liters. He will be undergoing an endoscopy in the next two weeks. This is to check to make sure no veins are in jeopardy of bursting. In about 3 weeks he will need another MRI to check on the status of the liver.

Eric has not been able to go back to work. He continues to face financial uncertainties, physical disabilities and emotional stresses. We are hoping and praying for your continued support. He's a good man and has overcome so much in his life. He deserves another several years with all of us. Thank you all for so much!

Hello everyone. Another update on Eric. It has been a very tiring, long week so far. He has been released from Stafford rehab hospital, and I brought him home. We have been seeing doctors and taking care of household needs since his return. He had to go to Urgent care last night. Had almost 7 liters of fluid removed from his abdomen and surrounding area. Another IV injection with proteins to try and stop this from occurring again. Another doctors appointment this afternoon. We are very worried as his strength is low and he has lost so much weight. I will continue to make updates on here, but if you are friends of Eric's, and have any questions please feel free to contact me. Thank you all for your caring and the support you have shown.❤️
