Fixing Norbert's Teeth!

Norbert is the cuddliest, snuggliest, most lovingest cat I have ever had. He also has feline stomatitis, which means that effectively, he's allergic to his own mouth. We've managed to make it a good number of years without much incident, but he now needs some pretty extensive dental surgery - he needs some teeth removed and some other work done so he can keep being the cute, happy snuggle bug I know and love.
The surgery isn't until February, and I've been working as hard as I can to save every penny, but I need your help. This amount will cover the cost of the entire surgery (the tooth removal, the teeth cleaning, the vet stay, the anaesthetic, and the antibiotics afterward). With your help, it will mean that Norbert's life will be happier and healthier, and he won't be in pain when he eats (we're not there yet, the surgery will prevent it from getting that bad) and he won't have all the mouth inflammation and loose teeth and other stuff he has been dealing with.
It's no secret I love my cat. He's been my companion through a lot of stuff (breakups, moving, my long distance relationship/marriage, you name it). He is the best snuggler, and always comes running when I get home. He knows when I am sad, and has been known to bring me kibbles and his best toys in my bed when I am sick. I want to give him the world. because he's been mine for a very long time.
I can't even begin to word how much I would love any bit of help me and Norbert can get. This cat has come a long way from his start in my parents backyard in the middle of winter - we've made it through all sorts of things together. He's a little bit of a goofball, and is the best friend I could ever ask for.
