Rosie Needs Heart Surgery
She needs surgery in order to live a happy healthy life. We need to raise $5500 to cover her surgery and recovery costs. The wonderful news is that once her heart is repaired she can be adopted and go on to live a happy healthy life.
If we aren't able to get her the surgery, the prognosis is that she won't make it past 12 months old. Her birthday is Christmas.
Please help us raise the money for her medical care.
We appreciate all donations.
As our previous update stated, her surgery was successful. Rosie has been recovering at a foster home and is doing awesome. We are excited, overjoyed in fact, to announce that the young man that worked so hard to help us save Rosie is going to be her new owner!
I will be reaching out to everyone that offered to help cover her adoption fee. You see, Rosie is going to need an additional EKG in 3 months which can run $775 + $350 for her adoption fee. This family could really use your help, and I think it would be INCREDIBLE if we all worked together to Pay It Forward for this young man.
In case you don't know his whole back story, Dominic Locatelli is a habitual helper. About a year ago he had his appendix removed and stayed at Rady's Children Hospital. When he came home he decided to sell lemons to raise money for the hospital because the nurses were nice to him.
If you are interested in donating to help Dominic's upcoming costs, please email us TheRescuedPup@gmail.com. We will be putting the money on Rosie's account at the vet so there will be no need for the family to pay.
This is like when that person in front of you pays for your coffee at Starbucks, but bigger ; )
All of our Gofundme money has now been used for Rosie to fix her heart murmur.
