Fix Jessica's car and keep her safe

Tribe, we have a member in due need. She's within a week of being homeless without the option of going to the shelter in town and if her car could get fixed she could at least have shelter in there. All she needs is someone to put in a back break line. She's got the know-how and the part, just no tools. The money is to either rent the tools and have her and my hubby do it themselves or pay someone to do it professionally. The member I'm speaking of is Jessica Sharpe, I've known her irl for 5 years now and she bends over backwards to help others and now they've all turned their back on her. Recently her mother was diagnosed with early onset dementia so Jessica has been staying there and helping her dad, but management has put their stinky foot down. I've seen her heart ripped out when she had to decide what to do about her puppy and find him a new forever home, I can't stand to see that again. Now the clock is ticking and we haven't much time. Any bit helps.
I consider this woman me of a sister to me than my biological sister. She has always supported me and I know that when she finds out I did this I'm getting my butt kicked, or at least glared at. Because she never asks for help for herself I'm asking for her.
