Help me get to the first ever Mama’s WFR Course!

I would really love to have the opportunity to go to the first ever, Mother’s WFR Course in March!
WFR stands for Wilderness First Responder, and for the first time ever is being offered as a women/mama focused course. It is designed and facilitated with the lens of motherhood in mind. The skills and experience gained through this course empower women who are traveling solo or with children, teaching backcountry risk management and how to render care in wilderness environments. Being outdoors as often as I am with my son Finn, I am driven to deepen my wilderness medical training out of both curiosity and passion. The WFR course is a 80-hour, 10-day course at the American Alpine Club’s Heuco Rock Ranch (near El Paso, TX).
Upon completion of this course & the written and practical tests, I would be certified in Wilderness First Responder — the industry standard. There are only 20 slots total available for this trip, which begins March 1. Unfortunately I just do not have the financial means to make this sort of trip happen. Whether it’s hiking or camping, rock climbing, surfing or skiing — I am outdoors often, and would like to continue to adventure in the safest manner possible, as well as inspire other single mamas to safely get outside. Any contribution in making this dream a reality, is humbling and I am filled with gratitude for the love and support.
The $1,500 would go first towards the $900 course fee, as well as flights to Texas, and lodging/food at Hueco Ranch (I would be camping, but there is a fee).
Thank you for taking the time to read my story & this is something that is a huge passion for me, but I have zero expectations in being able to go to this course. Putting it out in the universe and to you lovely humans, means so much to me!
