UPDATE
Paul's vehicle was located in Alachula County off I75 just south of Gainesville. After pulling the vehicle out investigators did not locate Paul's body in the vehicle. Investigators and the dive team are currently dreading the swamp in an effort to find Paul. We are changing the funds for this campaign to search and family funding. Paul's parents and girlfriend Kristen have been out of work for a week and will most likely continue to do so until some solid answers are given. On the change Paul is located we can only assume the medical and other bills that will come in and would need to be taken care of as well. The donations so far have been amazing and both families are beyond thankful for everyone's love, help, and prayers.
The intent of this campaign is to raise funds for a private helicopter charter to assist in the search efforts for missing 30yo Paul Marvella. Paul was last seen on Sunday, 1/15/2017 at approx. 6:10pm in Jacksonville, FL when he completed a work transport to the Memorial Healthcare Plaza at 3901 University Boulevard South. He last spoke with a family member while driving through the area of Starke, Florida that evening, at which time he gave an estimated arrival time (at home) of 10pm, but never arrived. Multiple attempts to reach him by phone later that evening rolled to voicemail. There has been no financial transaction history since he went missing. Paul does not turn off his phone. Drugs and alcohol are not a contributing factor/possibility. Friends and family have organized daily search parties on foot, recently chartered a plane to fly over the route that he is believed to have driven that evening and are working with local law enforcement to narrow down a cell phone ping. The area Paul was last known to be in is heavily wooded and would need to be searched by helicopter or plane. Quotes from surrounding helicopter charters (both commercial and private) have ranged from $900-1200 an hour. Given the search radius and multiple location possibilities, it is the goal of this campaign to raise enough to charter a helo flight for a mininum of 5hours to cover the radius surrounding his last known location.
